Kayaking at Kuruwitu Marine Park

Kenya

Swap your golf club for a paddle and enjoy a kayaking adventure from Vipingo Ridge Beach Club, exploring the beautiful Marine Conservation Park—just check the tide first!

Trade your putter for a paddle and kayak through the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Your kayaking experience takes place at the Kuruwitu Marine Park, located on the serene shores accessible from the Vipingo Ridge Beach Club. It’s the perfect water hazard—minus the hazards! Plan wisely; ocean activities depend on the tide. Check in with Reception to find the perfect time to take your kayak for a spin and avoid being left high and dry.

Begin your journey at the Beach Club. If you need a lift, transport can be arranged through Reception. It’s like having your personal caddie but with a van instead of a golf cart! No need to bring your own paddle; equipment hire is available on request. All rentals include life jackets and a safety briefing, so you’ll stay afloat both on the water and on safety. Little ones tagging along? Make sure each child is accompanied by an adult for all kayaking activities. We love future paddlers, just not unsupervised ones! Ready to trade fairways for waves? Paddle over to Reception to arrange your kayaking session and make it a hole-in-one kind of day at the beach.
