Join us for the 2025 South Africa Golf Classic where golfers from around the globe gather together for a week of fun in the beautiful Garden Route and Cape Winelands regions. From the moment you touch down at George Airport to the final farewell in Cape Town, every detail has been meticulously crafted to offer you an unforgettable experience. We can also provide the opportunity to add time on safari, visiting Victoria Falls, exploring Cape Town and much more.
The 2025 Africa Golf Classic: South Africa will be held in George, located in the Garden Route, and Stellenbosch, situated in the Cape Winelands of South Africa. Enjoy playing the Montagu Golf Course, Outeniqua Golf Course, Stellenbosch Golf Course, and De Zalze Golf Course, each offering a masterful blend of natural beauty and technical challenge.
International Night
Part of the fun involves being attending a dinner dressed up or wearing something that represents their home country. As the drinks flow and the spirits rise teams will be encouraged to perform songs from their home nation. Canapes representing the various countries will be served alongside South African wines and local brews. A local DJ will play music from various countries with the highlight being the local workers singing the South African National Anthem. The best dressed male and female will receive awards.
Tour Itinerary
April 26: Touch down at George Airport and transfer to Fancourt Golf Resort where you’ll be staying for 3 nights. After checking in register for the tournament and collect your welcome pack and event shirt and enjoy a complimentary 15-minute neck and shoulder massage. In the evening we kick off the Africa Golf Classic with canapés and a selection of exquisite South African wines during the welcome formalities and tournament introduction.
April 27: The opening round will be played 0n Fancourts superb Montagu Golf Course. Enjoy shared golf buggies and a grab-and-go halfway house snack with a refreshing drink at the turn. Celebrate the round’s completion with a bucket of ice-cold beer and water per fourball. Test your skills in the “Impossible Putt Competition” for a chance to win a spot in any future Africa Golf Classic. For dinner explore the exquisite dining options at Fancourt at your leisure.
April 28: The competition continues with the second round on the renowned Outeniqua Golf Course. Again buggies, a halfway house snack and a drink plus a bucket of ice-cold beer and water after the round are included. For dinner explore the exquisite dining options at Fancourt at your leisure.
April 29: After breakfast and a morning at leisure you’ll be transferred to the airport for your short flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the De Zalze Lodge where you’ll be staying for 3 nights. The lodge is at the beautiful De Zalze Golf Course in Stellenbosch right in the heart of the Cape Winelands. In the evening enjoy a range of traditional South African foods in a tapas-style dinner accompanied by some of the finest wines from this internationally acclaimed wine growing region.
April 30: Round three will be played at the nearby Erinvale Country & Golf Estate. Again buggies, a halfway house snack and a drink plus a bucket of ice-cold beer and water after the round are included. In the evening explore the exquisite dining options in the charming town of Stellenbosch, the gourmet capital of South Africa.
May 1: The final round of the tournament will be played on on the De Zalze Golf Club to determine the tournament’s champion. Once again buggies, a halfway house snack and a drink plus a bucket of ice-cold beer and water after the round are included. The tournament ends with a grand prize-giving at the clubhouse. May 2: Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight home, or extend your adventure with a safari trip and more time in beautiful South Africa.
