Trip Summary

The journey begins in Cape Town, a vibrant city famous for its dramatic landscapes, including the iconic Table Mountain. Here, the group will play at top golf courses like Steenberg and Royal Cape, while enjoying time to explore the lively V&A Waterfront and the rich history that Cape Town offers.

Next, the tour moves to the Cape Winelands, a region renowned for its beautiful vineyards and gourmet experiences. Guests will stay at a luxury lodge and play golf at Erinvale and De Zalze, two stunning courses surrounded by mountain ranges and lush vineyards. Off the course, participants can indulge in wine tastings and savour local cuisine.

From the winelands, the group will head down the Garden Route. Stop to play at the spectacular Pinnacle Point. Then go to Gondwana Game Reserve for an authentic South African safari experience. Here, golfers will trade their clubs for cameras as they embark on thrilling game drives, spotting the Big Five in their natural habitat.

The final stop is Knysna, located along the picturesque Garden Route. Staying at the unique Turbine Hotel, the group will enjoy rounds at Pezula and Simola, two of the country’s most scenic golf courses, with sweeping views of the coastline and mountains. This tour promises a perfect blend of golf, adventure, and unforgettable memories in South Africa.

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel, located at the V&A Waterfront.

Afternoon at leisure to explore the waterfront or relax after your journey.

Welcome dinner with Jacques Geus and the group.

Day 2: Golf at Steenberg Golf Course

Morning round of golf at Steenberg Golf Course, known for its vineyard and mountain views.

Afternoon free to explore Cape Town, with options to visit Table Mountain or the city’s historical sites.

Evening at leisure to enjoy Cape Town’s dining and nightlife.

Day 3: Private Half-Day City Tour & Table Mountain

Enjoy a private half-day city tour of Cape Town, including a cable car trip up Table Mountain for panoramic views.

Afternoon free for relaxation or further exploration.

Optional dinner at one of Cape Town’s renowned restaurants.

Day 4: Golf at Royal Cape Golf Course

Morning round of golf at Royal Cape Golf Course, South Africa’s oldest golf club.

Depart for Stellenbosch and check into De Zalze Lodge in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

Evening at leisure, with opportunities to visit local wine estates for tastings and dinner.

Day 5: Golf at Erinvale Golf Course & Wine Tasting

Play at Erinvale Golf Course, nestled against the Helderberg Mountains.

Afternoon wine tasting at a nearby estate, followed by lunch.

Evening free to explore Stellenbosch or relax at the lodge.

Day 6: Golf at Pinnacle Point & Transfer to Gondwana Game Reserve

Depart Stellenbosch and drive along the scenic Garden Route.

Stop for an afternoon round of golf at Pinnacle Point, known for its breathtaking cliffside views over the Indian Ocean.

– After golf, continue to Gondwana Game Reserve and check into your Lehele Villa.

Dinner and relaxation at the lodge.

Day 7: Safari at Gondwana Game Reserve

Early morning game drive to spot the Big Five in the reserve.

Leisure time during the day to relax by the pool or enjoy the lodge’s facilities.

Afternoon game drive followed by a group dinner under the stars.

Day 8: Transfer to Knysna & Golf at Pezula Golf Course

Depart Gondwana and transfer to Knysna along the beautiful Garden Route.

Check into the luxurious Turbine Hotel in Knysna.

Afternoon round at Pezula Golf Course, known for its spectacular views.

Evening at leisure to explore Knysna’s waterfront and dining options.

Day 9: Golf at Simola Golf Course

Morning round of golf at Simola Golf Course, offering panoramic views of Knysna Lagoon and the surrounding hills.

Afternoon free for optional activities like visiting Knysna Heads or exploring Featherbed Nature Reserve.

Group dinner, including a private Catamaran Sunset Braai Cruise.

Day 10: Free Day in Knysna

A free day to explore Knysna, shop, or relax at the hotel. Farewell dinner.

Day 11: Departure

Check out from the Turbine Hotel and transfer to George airport for your flight home or onward travel.
