On arrival at Livingstone Airport you’ll be greeted by our friendly representative and swiftly transferred to The David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa, a luxurious retreat where you will spend the next three nights. After checking in and settling into your comfortable room, you can relax and soak in the ambiance of this splendid lodge. As the evening approaches, embark on a delightful sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. With drinks and snacks in hand, watch the sun set over the water, painting the sky with vibrant hues and casting a magical glow over the landscape.
Day 2
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you will be collected for an awe-inspiring guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Standing before the thundering cascade, you’ll feel the raw power and beauty of this natural marvel. Following the tour, prepare for an exhilarating 15-minute helicopter flight over the Falls, offering a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the sprawling landscape and the majestic waterfall. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure back at the lodge, perhaps indulging in some spa treatments or simply relaxing by the pool.
Day 3
Day three begins with a delicious breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, you will be transferred to Elephant Hills Golf Club for a round of golf amidst stunning scenery. The course, set against the backdrop of the African wilderness, provides a unique and memorable golfing experience. Following your game, return to the lodge to spend a leisurely afternoon, perfect for unwinding and reflecting on the day’s adventures.
Day 4
On the fourth day, after enjoying breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Lusaka. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and taken to the serene Ciela Resort and Spa, where you will check in for the next four nights. Spend the evening exploring the resort and its surroundings, savoring the luxurious facilities and tranquil atmosphere.
Day 5 & 6
The fifth day begins with breakfast at the resort, followed by a round of golf at the Bonanza Golf Course. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure, whether you choose to relax at the resort or explore the local area. On the sixth day, you will be collected after breakfast and transferred to Lusaka Golf Course for another round of golf. Return to the resort for an evening at your own pace, enjoying the amenities and services available.
Day 7
Day seven mirrors the fifth, with breakfast followed by a round of golf at Bonanza Golf Course. The afternoon is again yours to enjoy at leisure, soaking in the peaceful ambiance of the resort.
Day 8
On the eighth day, after breakfast and checking out, you’ll transfer to Lusaka Airport for your flight to South Luangwa National Park. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative and driven to the charming Mfuwe Lodge, where you’ll check in for three nights. After a delicious lunch at the lodge, set off on an exciting afternoon game drive, where you can spot diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for a delightful dinner.
Day 9
Day nine starts early with a morning game drive, guided by an expert who will share fascinating insights about the local flora and fauna. This is the prime time for wildlife viewing, as animals are most active in the cool hours of the morning. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, enjoy some leisure time before lunch. The afternoon offers another thrilling game drive, followed by a relaxing evening and dinner at the lodge.
Day 10
The tenth day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Mfuwe Lodge and its surroundings. Participate in various lodge activities, including more game drives and nature walks. All meals will be served at the lodge, ensuring you are well-nourished throughout the day.
Day 11
On the eleventh day, after a final morning game activity and breakfast, it’s time to check out. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Lusaka, concluding your incredible journey through some of Africa’s most beautiful and captivating landscapes.
Having seen all of these hotels, played all the courses and enjoyed the fantastic Zambian hospitality myself I’d love to share my experience and ensure others get the best out of this amazing country.
